About
When I started college, I majored in Psychology mainly because I was interested in people. After spending 8 years working in social services and a year deep into a Master’s Degree, I realized I was headed in the wrong direction. I wanted to do something creative and fun!
In 2007, I opened a restaurant in Brooklyn, NY with two other very determined business partners. To jumpstart our marketing program, I was fortunate to hire and work alongside an amazing graphic designer who taught me everything about advertising, marketing and design. Together we created hilarious advertising posters, organized ridiculous events (Wing Eating Contests), developed a kick-ass website and worked with local artists curating monthly art shows. I learned about the importance of brand development and how marketing was literally the backbone of every business. Once our business closed after 10 years, I relocated to Puerto Rico where I have since worked with numerous small businesses to develop websites, improve overall marketing strategies and create eye-catching logos and promotional materials.
